Creator Terms

These terms apply when you publish series on Plotism. They add to our general Terms of Use.

1. Revenue share

• You set the price of each season (minimum $2.99). Fans who buy a season get every episode in it, including episodes you add to that season later; new seasons are sold separately. You receive 70% of the price excluding VAT for every sale. Plotism keeps 30% and pays all payment processing fees.
• Earnings become payable 30 days after a sale (to cover refunds and chargebacks) and are paid out monthly to the bank account or PayPal address in your settings, once your payable balance is at least $20. Refunded or charged-back sales are deducted.
• You are responsible for reporting your earnings to the tax authorities in your country.

2. Your content and license

• Plotism does not claim ownership of your series. Whatever rights you have in your work stay with you. Note that content generated entirely by AI may not be protected by copyright in every country; your own creative input (story, script, editing, voice, music you made) usually is.
• You give Plotism a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream, sell and promote your series (including showing covers and short excerpts) while it is on Plotism, and to keep providing access to fans who already bought it.
• You can unpublish a season at any time; fans who bought it keep access.

3. Content rules

By publishing, you confirm that your content:

• is made by you (with AI tools whose terms allow commercial use) and you have all rights to it;
• does not use the face, voice or likeness of any real person without written permission;
• does not contain copyrighted music, characters, logos or footage you don't have a license for (use original or royalty-free music);
• is safe for work: no sexual content or nudity, no graphic violence, no hate, harassment or content involving minors in any harmful way;
• is clearly fictional and not misleading.

Plotism labels all content “Made with AI”. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and withhold earnings from content that infringes others' rights.

4. You are responsible for your content

• You publish your content at your own risk and are solely responsible for it, including any music, images, characters, voices or likenesses it contains.
• You will indemnify and hold harmless Plotism and its owner against all claims, damages, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) from third parties or authorities that arise from your content or from a breach of these terms.
• If we receive a credible claim about your content, we may hide or remove it, withhold the related earnings until the claim is resolved, and set off or reclaim earnings that were paid for infringing content.
• Accounts that repeatedly infringe the rights of others will be closed.

5. Notices and appeals

If someone reports your content, we may hide it while we review it and we will tell you why. You can reply to explain or appeal a decision by emailing us.

6. Changes

We may change these terms or the revenue share with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes never apply to sales made before the change.
